Computers Unlimited is the other distributor for the LCD monitor range, which additionally includes the SpectraViews 1990, 2090, 2190 and 2690 models, with screens from 19 to 30 inches wide. The SpectraView 3090 is intended for prepress and soft proofing applications, with a 30 inch wide screen, displaying 98% of the Adobe RGB colour space, 12-bit look up tables and NEC’s Xlight Pro self-adjustment technology. The monitors are backed by NEC’s three-year warranty.
Richard Wilks, NEC’s sales manager for specialist displays, says the distributor is a perfect partner to grow the SpectraView uptake in both the Mac and PC markets. “You need to have people who know what they’re doing in these specialised areas, and we’re confident Mentor are just that,” says Wilks.
