DTI updates ad system

Digital Technology International has announced details of version 7 of its advertising, editorial and web publishing system, currently used by many national and international news organisations.

The new version has numerous browser-based tools that give newspapers “the power to unify their print and web applications”, says DTI. It includes WebSpeed, which DTI says is a “revolutionary approach to publishing content to the web”, supports XML and uses MediaPool, DTI’s content management system.

Version 7 is able to compress InDesign documents before they move over a network, allowing newspapers the timely benefits of faster transfer rates.
